President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia has traveled to Asmara on an official visit.
The plane carrying the Somali President landed at the Asmara International Airport on Monday.
Eritrean President Isaias Afawarki was at the airport to welcome President Mohamud.
The Somali President traveled outside the country for the first time since Ethiopia signed a controversial agreement with Somaliland.
