President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has arrived in Djibouti for the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Heads of State Summit.
IGAD is to host an extraordinary assembly for the Heads of State and Government in the Djiboutian capital from Saturday.
The Somali President arrived in Djibouti on Friday evening.
He will be attending the summit for the first time since Somalia joined the East African Community (EAC) a few days ago.
