President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud traveled to Eritrea on Monday.
The Somali President arrived in Asmara at the invitation of his Eritrean counterpart President Isaias Afwerki.
This represents President Mohamud’s sixth time visiting Eritrea since 2022 when he won elections.
President Afwerki was at the Djibouti’s international airport to accord President Mohamud and his team a warm welcome.
Mohamud and Afwerki will hold bilateral talks on improving relations between their nations.
