President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia has called for increased investments in the country by the African Development Bank (AfDB).
The President made this call on Thursday when he held talks with Akinwumi A. Adesina, the President of the AfDB.
President Mohamud and Adesina held talks in Nairobi, Kenya.
He reassured Adesina and the AfDB Group of Somalia’s commitment to embedding economic reforms.
He then urged Adesina and AfDB Group to not only redouble their efforts in the East African nation but also increase investments too.
President Mohamud stated that such moves would allow the country to achieve sustainable growth and development.
