President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud commended the role that Somali women play in the ongoing operation against terrorists in the nation.
He spoke while addressing a convention of the Somali National Women’s Organization (SNWO) in Dhusamareb.
President Mohamud was in the company of President Ahmed Abdi Karie Qoorqoor of the regional state of Galmudug at the Wednesday event.
Specifically, he mentioned the role they play in boosting the morale of officers of the Somali National Armed Forces (SNAF).
They continue to heighten public awareness of the ongoing counterterrorism operations too.
Representatives of the SNWO who spoke at the convention assured President Mohamud of unwavering support for the offensives.
