The President of Somalia confirms that Ethiopian officials tried blocking him from attending the African Union (AU) Summit.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud confirmed the incident during a press conference after leaving Addis Ababa.
He said that a convoy featuring Somali and Djiboutian leaders was blocked.
In his view, the incident is a clear breach of diplomatic protocols.
He blasted the Ethiopian government under the leadership of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed for abuse of presidential diplomatic immunity.
