The President of Somalia confirmed that he is scheduled to travel to Ethiopia in the next few weeks.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud confirmed this while in Kismayo.
Flanked by Jubbaland President Ahmed Sheikh Islam Madobe, President Mohamud added that he will attend the upcoming meeting of the African Union (AU).
Further, he will attend meetings by the East African Community (EAC) and the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD).
All these meetings will be in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
This will be the first time President Mohamud visits Ethiopia since the diplomatic row with Somalia broke earlier this year.
While in Ethiopia, he promised to fight for the interests of Somalia.
