President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has sent a congratulatory message to the newly elected President of Iraq.
Dr. Abdul Latif Rashid was declared the winner of the Iraqi presidential elections.
The announcement was made on Friday, October 14.
Immediately afterward, the Somali leader joined other world leaders and heads of state in congratulating Dr. Rashid.
