President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud held talks with his Djiboutian counterpart on Saturday.
The Somali leader is currently in Djibouti to attend the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Heads of State and Government Summit.
The IGAD Summit kicks off on Saturday.
President Mohamud, who arrived in the Djiboutian capital on Friday, discussed several issues with President Ismail Omar Guelleh.
These included the fraternal relations between their respective nations.
They also spoke about the need for improving cooperation in sectors such as peace and security.
