Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud arrived in Nairobi on Monday evening for bilateral talks with Kenyan President William Ruto.
President Mohamud arrived in the Kenyan capital from Burundi where he had been on Sunday.
Over the last two days, he has traveled to Uganda, Djibouti, Burundi, and Kenya.
The discussions are focused on strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between Somalia and Kenya.
The two leaders are expected to explore areas of mutual interest, including security, trade, regional cooperation, and efforts to combat terrorism, particularly in the Horn of Africa.
This meeting reinforces the ongoing collaboration between the neighboring nations and highlights the importance of regional stability and economic integration.
