President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has launched the second phase of the war against terrorism.
The President launched Phase 2 of the counterterrorism measures on Sunday.
He did so when releasing the Gantaal Brigade units.
President Mohamud added that his government is focused on elimination of terrorism and the rebuilding of the country’s armed forces.
His administration has been hard on the terrorists since coming to power on May 2022.
