President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia attended the official opening of the second session of the House of the People (Lower House).
The President addressed legislators during the opening of the second session in Mogadishu on Tuesday, November 15.
His speech touched on several issues affecting the East African nation.
President Mohamud reminded the Lower House legislators of his administration’s ongoing priorities.
The priorities include tackling the humanitarian crisis threatening the country.
He listed the ongoing fight against terrorists as the other priority his administration is pursuing.
