The Somali President has resolved longstanding dispute between top leaders of the regional state of Puntland.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud held discussions with the Puntland leadership for a full grasp of their differences.
At the end of it all, he reconciled Puntland’s President Ahmed Abdi Karie Qoorqoor and Vice President Ali Dahir Eid.
Vice President Dahir admitted that his differences with President Qoorqoor had not been “significant.”
Nevertheless, he expressed gratitude to the Somali President for his peacemaking overtures that had borne fruit.
