President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has traveled to Adan Yabal to lead the war on terrorism in the region.
The President, who has been in Mahas since Sunday, traveled to Adan Yabal on Tuesday.
He has been in central Somalia for around a month now leading security agencies in conducting counterterrorism operations.
Al-Shabaab retains a foothold in regions such as Jubbaland, Galmudug, Southwest, and HirShabelle.
President Mohamud is scheduled to hold meetings with army personnel in Adn Yabal to discuss strategies for the war.
He will be in the company of President Ali Gudlawe of HirShabelle among other dignitaries.
