President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia is scheduled to hold discussions with the leaders of the Federal Member States (FMS) on Monday, September 12.
Villa Somalia has already confirmed the impending meeting.
Two of the leaders of the regional states have arrived in Mogadishu ahead of the meeting.
These are President Ahmed Madobe and President Ali Gudlawe of the regional states of Jubbaland and HirShabelle respectively.
Madobe and Gudlawe arrived in Mogadishu on Saturday.
Monday’s meeting will offer President Mohamud and the regional state leaders an opportunity to iron out a few issues that have created disharmony.
Last month, regional ministers of finance announced that they have abandoned all cooperation with the federal finance ministry.
President Mohamud will be meeting the leaders for the second time since winning the presidential elections held in May.
