President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia will visit the regional state of Puntland on Thursday.
Sources at Villa Somalia intimated that the President would leave Mogadishu to travel to Garowe for a series of meetings with Puntland officials.
Primarily, he is scheduled to hold talks with President Said Abdullahi Deni of Puntland.
It is worth noting that President Deni endorsed President Mohamud when there was no clear winner in the presidential elections held in May 2022.
