President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia has been actively engaging in diplomatic efforts to strengthen Somalia’s international relations.
On Sunday, he departed for Libya to participate in high-level discussions aimed at “strengthening the historical relationship between the two countries,” according to an official statement.
This visit follows a previous meeting on January 22, 2025, in Davos, where President Mohamud held talks with Mohamed Al Menfi, Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya.
During that meeting, the leaders discussed ways to enhance cooperation and deepen ties between Somalia and Libya.
These diplomatic engagements highlight Somalia’s ongoing efforts to foster stronger bilateral relationships and collaborate on mutual interests with other nations.
