President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia visited a number of businesses in Nairobi’s Eastleigh neighborhood.
The President was in the company of senior Kenyan government officials led by Aden Duale, the Cabinet Secretary of Defense.
His visit on Wednesday evening took place a few hours after attending the African Development Bank (AfDB) annual meeting in the Kenyan capital.
President Mohamud discussed several issues with Somali businessmen in Eastleigh.
Some of the issues tackled included investment opportunities, security concerns, and the progress that Somali traders have made in the neighborhood.
