The commitment that President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud continues to demonstrate toward development, diplomacy, and defense has been commended.
The United States Embassy in Mogadishu hailed the work that President Mohamud has put in since assuming office last year.
It added that the President has shown tremendous dedication to improving the partnership that Somalia enjoys with the US.
The Somali President has been in the US this week to attend various meetings.
He has held discussions with US government officials as well as the representatives of the UN and other international organizations.
