Somali Prime Minister Attends Launch of High-Level Mediation for South Sudan

Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre attended the launch of a high-level mediation for South Sudan in Nairobi.

Kenyan President William Ruto hosted the event held in Nairobi on Thursday.

Prime Minister Barre commended the ongoing efforts launched to restore peace, security, and stability in South Sudan.

He urged all parties to the conflict to show complete commitment to the mediation efforts.

The Somali Prime Minister has been in the Kenyan capital for the past two days attending the Africa Soil Health and Fertilizer Summit.
