The Prime Minister met with the heads of the nation’s security and defense agencies at his office on Tuesday.
A communique from the Office of the Prime Minister shows that Barre and the officers discussed the overall security situation in the nation.
They discussed the ongoing offensives against Al-Shabaab leaders too.
The Prime Minister assured the top officers of the government’s commitment to boosting the country’s defense.
He added that the government would employ a comprehensive and proactive approach in facing the challenges facing the country’s security and defense head-on.
