Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre met with James Swan to discuss the stabilization of liberated areas in Somalia.
Swan is the United Nations Special Representative to Somalia.
The two leaders held discussions at the Office of the Prime Minister in Mogadishu on Monday, October 24.
Apart from stabilizing liberated areas, they also discussed the ongoing drought response measures.
Prime Minister Barre and UN Special Representative Swan agreed on the importance of averting the looming famine.
