Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre held talks with the speakers of both chambers of parliament.
The Premier met with Speaker Abdi Hashi and Speaker Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur Madobe of the Senate (Upper House) and House of the People (Lower House) respectively.
During Saturday’s meeting, they discussed several issues pertaining to the nation.
These included security and economic growth.
Diplomatic relations between Somalia and its neighboring nations features prominently in their talks.
Prime Minister Barre, Speaker Hashi, and Speaker Madobe also spoke about the government’s efforts to safeguard the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and unity of Somalia.
