The Prime Minister of Somalia has left the country on an official visit to Qatar.
Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre’s plane departed from the Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu on Monday.
He is scheduled to hold discussions with various officials of the Qatari government.
Barre has traveled with a delegation of senior Somali government officers that includes the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Finance.
The Minister of Internal Security and Minister of Education are in the delegation too.
Qatar runs a number of critical projects in the East African nation.
