The government will close Mogadishu’s main roads forcing workers to walk to their places of work.
The closure is to smooth the commemoration of 50 years of the founding of Somali Prison Forces.
Several government officials representing various departments will be at the celebrations. Representatives of the Corps Command will also attend and deliver a speech.
Preparations for the silver jubilee anniversary are currently underway.
