Somali Region in Ethiopia hosted the Forum on Combating Contraband Activities in the region.
President Mustafe M. Omer of the Somali Region in Ethiopia opened the forum on Monday, June 20.
While addressing participants at the forum, President Omer commended recent efforts by federal and regional stakeholders to combat contraband activities.
He said that the previous efforts have borne fruit.
Furthermore, President Omer called for the redoubling of the efforts that have proved successful thus far.
During the forum, participants identified key problems and challenges.
They also identified solutions for the existing problems.
