Mogadishu – The Somali Salvation Forum, a new political platform led by former President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed, was officially launched in Mogadishu on Saturday.
The announcement came at the conclusion of a three-day conference attended by prominent opposition figures and political leaders.
The forum aims to address national challenges and advocate for political reforms amid growing concerns over governance, security, and federal-state relations in Somalia.
Participants emphasized the need for a united front to safeguard Somalia’s democratic progress and called for inclusive dialogue ahead of the upcoming political processes.
