Somali Security Agencies Vow to Defend the Country’s Sovereignty

The heads of all the security agencies in Somalia vowed to do all that is within their powers to defend the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The security leaders made this vow when they met in Mogadishu on Sunday.

They included Brig. Gen. Ibrahim Sheikh Muhiydin, Brig. Gen. Sulub Ahmed Firin, and Mahad Salad met in the nation’s capital for deliberations on this issue and more.

Brig. Gen. Muhiydin is the Somali National Army (SNA) commander while Brig. Gen. Firin and Salad are the heads of Somali Police Force (SPF) and the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) respectively.

They discussed better strategies for fighting terrorists and securing Somalia too.
