Somali security officials briefed the Deputy Prime Minister on the progress of the ongoing campaign against Al-Shabaab terrorists and other like-minded groups.
This happened on Thursday when Deputy Prime Minister Mahad Salad chaired this week’s Council of Cabinet meeting.
Under the leadership of the Deputy Prime Minister, members of the cabinet reviewed the ongoing anti-terrorism operations.
They received reports from senior security and military officials on the achievements and challenges faced in the operations.
