Somali Senate Passes the Anti-Terrorism Bill

Somali Senate has passed the historic anti-terrorism bill.

Reports indicate that 29 Senators voted in favor of the bill in Tuesday’s session.

The bill had already passed through the House of the People where legislators voted for it overwhelmingly.

With the passage of the bill, the government now has more tools to fight extremism.
