A social media celebrity of Somali origin has been injured in an attack in Mogadishu.
Reports indicate that Bilal Bulshawi was injured during an attack meted on him by unidentified gunmen on Friday, September 2.
The incident that left the TikTok celebrity shaken took place in Mogadishu’s Banadir Junction.
According to eyewitnesses, the unidentified gunmen shot Bulshawi, also known as “TikTok President”, right on the head.
A second person was injured in the same incident.
