A Somali court has ordered for the execution of a soldier who killed his colleague after they quarrelled over spaghetti.
On Tuesday, the court ordered that Abdirahman Mowlid’s execution after finding him guilty of killing his colleague on March 16, 2024.
The two soldiers quarrelled over pasta – is a favourite food of most people in Somalia – while serving on the frontlines in Hiiraan.
