Somali soldiers who were wounded while fighting terrorists in the country have arrived in Cairo, Egypt for medical treatment.
The Somali government airlifted them to Egypt for further medical treatment.
They arrived in Cairo on the night of Sunday, September 25.
Ilyas Sheikh, Somalia’s Ambassador to Egypt, was at the airport to receive the Somali National Army (SNA) soldiers.
He expressed gratitude to the government and the people of Egypt for their support.
