Mustafa Muhumed Omar Cagjar, the President of Ethiopia’s Somali State, has traveled to Hargeisa, Somaliland.
President Cagjar arrived in the Somaliland capital on Sunday, November 28.
Upon arrival, he held a meeting with his host, President Muse Bihi Abdi.
Cagjar then discussed the ongoing war in Ethiopia between government troops and the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF).
President Cagjar’s meeting with Bihi took place at the Presidential Palace in Hargeisa.
According to sources, President Bihi expressed support for the Ethiopian government’s side in its conflict with TPLF.
Cagjar urged Somaliland and Somalia not to sit back.
Instead, he urged them to support Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia, who is in the frontline leading government troops to fight TPLF rebels.
Cagjar has already expressed solidarity with Prime Minister Abiy.
