Somali students can now look forward to a great academic year after receiving a donation of 1,000 schoolbags from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief).
KSRelief, a Saudi Arabia charity organization, handed over the bags to be distributed to the students in the Sahel region.
Sahel students will benefit from the school bags ahead of the upcoming academic year.
The students are to receive stationery items too on top of the school bags.
Saudi Press Agency (SPA) confirmed the donation. SPA added that the school bags and the attendant stationery items have already been handed over for onward distribution to the Sahel students.
