Somali youths in Al-Shabaab have been urged to surrender as soon as possible to avoid falling on the wrong side of the ongoing war on terror in Somalia.
Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, the federal Minister of Defense, issued this call on Thursday.
He was speaking to members of the fourth estate while announcing the encirclement of the Al-Shabaab militants in Galgadud.
Nur added that Somali National Armed Forces (SNAF) have surrounded the militants thus providing them with neither “exit nor refuge”.
He assured those still in Al-Shabaab of a bitter end in the battlefield, especially as Somalia prepares for phase two of the counterterrorism operations around the country.
