Somalia is in the list of 13 countries banned by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) over the issuance of fake COVID-19 certificates.
UAE has placed a new policy that all travelers to the country must abide by.
The policy requires travelers to display their COVID-19 certificates before they are allowed into the Middle East nation.
Unfortunately, travelers from 13 countries have grown adept at displaying fake COVID-19 certificates to cheat their way into UAE.
However, the UAE government has now opted to slap a visa ban on travelers from the affected countries, which include Somalia and Kenya.
Other countries affected by the ban include Iran, Iraq, Syria, Turkey and Tunisia.
Travelers from Lebanon, Yemen, Algeria, Afghanistan, Libya, and Pakistan would also be unable to travel to UAE.
