Somalia and Ethiopia have reiterated the need for improving security cooperation.
On Thursday, Abshir Omar Jama Huruse held discussions on security-related issues with two Ethiopian officials.
He met with Demeke Mekonnen Hassen, the Ethiopian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Huruse and Hassen met on the sidelines of the African Union (AU) Summit in Addis Ababa.
They discussed current affairs in the region before agreeing that Somalia and Ethiopia need close cooperation in security and development.
