Somalia will develop a sustainable food value chain jointly with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
Hassan Hussein Mohamed, Somalia’s Minister of Livestock, Forestry, and Range, announced this during his meeting with Beth Bechdol.
Bechdol, FAO’s Deputy Director-General, was in Somalia for a series of meetings.
They underscored the importance of shared priorities that include livestock, forestry, and management of rangeland in Somalia.
