Somalia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Norway on issues of mutual interest.
The two nations signed the agreement on Friday during President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud’s ongoing official visit to Norway.
Abshir Axmad signed the agreement on behalf of Somalia.
Espen Barth Eide, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, signed the MoU on behalf of the Norwegian government.
Historically, Norway has been one of Somalia’s staunchest international allies.
