Dar es Salaam, Tanzania — Somalia’s Ambassador to Tanzania and the East African Community, Ilyas Ali Hassan, on Tuesday hosted Omani Ambassador Saud Al Shidhani at the Somali Embassy headquarters in Dar es Salaam. The meeting reaffirmed the strong and enduring ties between the two nations, which are grounded in a long-shared history, culture, and tradition.
According to an official statement from the Somali Embassy, the two diplomats discussed ongoing diplomatic engagements and explored new avenues for deepening bilateral cooperation. They highlighted mutual interests spanning trade, regional stability, cultural exchange, and development partnerships.
Both ambassadors expressed commitment to further advancing these relations and ensuring that Somalia-Oman collaboration remains robust.
