Somalia is ready to enter economic partnerships with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This emerged on Thursday when Bihi Egeh held a meeting with Mohammed Al-Jaddan in Riyadh. Egeh is the Minister of Finance in the Somali government. Al-Jaddan is his Saudi counterpart.
They discussed a number of other issues too.
These included ongoing economic reforms in Somalia as well as possibilities and opportunities in the country post-Heavily Indebted Poort Countries (HIPC) initiative.
Egeh and Al-Jaddan agreed that solid Somali-Saudi Arabia relations are key to development in the Horn of Africa nation.
