Somalia is to pursue improved interministerial sports cooperation with Serbia.
Mohamed Bare Mohamud, Somalia’s Minister of Sports and Youth, agreed on this with Zoran Gajic in their meeting in Belgrade.
Gajic, the Serbian sports minister, held discussions with Mohamud on Friday.
Mohamud was with Mohamed Abdullahi, the Somali Ambassador to Serbia.
During their meeting, the Somali and Serbian leaders agreed on the importance of interministerial and inter-country cooperation in sports.
They agreed that sports could improve relations between the two countries.
