Somalia and Sweden intend to pursue improved cooperation in several specific areas.
A delegation of officials from Sweden was in Mogadishu for a series of discussions with a few senior Somali government officials.
On Sunday, the Swedish delegation held discussions with Mohamed Beenebeene.
Beenebeene, the Somali Minister of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development, was with Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Doodishe and Ali Omar.
Dr. Doodishe is the federal Minister of Internal Security while Omar serves as the State Minister of Foreign Affairs.
They met the Swedish delegation to discuss improved cooperation in development, trade, and immigration.
