The government of Somalia announced plans to strengthen data protection in the health sector.
This was announced earlier in the week following discussions between officials from the Ministry of Health and the Data Protection Authority (DPA).
Health ministry officials declared their willingness to collaborate with DPA to achieve this goal.
Recognizing their role as a key data collector, the ministry’s officials promised to implement data protection regulations fully.
