Somalia has appointed two legislators to represent it at the African, Pacific, and Caribbean (ACP) and the European Union (EU) parliaments.
Speaker Sheikh Adan Madobe of the House of the People (Lower House), announced this on Sunday.
The Lower House Speaker confirmed that the federal parliament had unilaterally settled on Farhiyo Yusuf Omar and Salim Aliyow Ibrow as its two representatives at ACP and EU parliaments.
Ibrow and Omar will represent Somalia at the ACP and EU parliaments respectively.
