The Council of Ministers has unanimously endorsed the draft Investment Promotion Agency (IPA) bill.
The cabinet met under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Salah Jama on Thursday.
All the cabinet ministers at this week’s session agreed to approve the draft bill unanimously. Furthermore, they also endorsed the Immigration and Naturalization draft bills.
Mohamed Beenebeene, the Minister of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development, commended the latest development.
Beenebeene stated that the IPA draft bill is crucial to the efforts the ministry has put in place to promote investment and economic development in Somalia.
