Somalia Calls on NAM to Stop Ethiopia’s Plans to Invade Part of its Territory

Somalia has called upon the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) to stop the plans by Ethiopia to invade part of its territory.

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud made this call during his speech at a meeting of NAM held in Kampala, Uganda on Friday.

In his speech, President Mohamud called upon the NAM to prevent the impending invasion of its territory by an increasingly aggressive Ethiopia.

“Somalia rejects all the efforts by Ethiopia to annex any part of its territory,” the President said.

Consequently, President Mohamud appealed to NAM, the African Union (AU), and the United Nations to act fast and prevent the plans by Ethiopia.
