Security officials in Somalia say the recent clan clashes have killed 20 people in the country.
Clan fighting has been rampant in Lower Juba.
With tens of Somalis confirmed dead, another 20 seek medical treatment for their wounds.
The clashes, pitting the Awr Maleh clan against Marehan clan, lasted several days.
According to reports, the fighting was because of access to water.
The location of the clashes is 75km away from Kismayo.
Regional troops are in the area attempting to quell the situation.
The war-torn country suffers violence propagated by Al-Shabaab but clan infighting is also frequent.
