Somalia Commends Kuwait’s Successful Intervention in Gulf Crisis

The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) has commended Kuwait for successfully intervening in the ongoing Gulf crisis.

Kuwait intervened to quell the distrust and growing differences between Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Recently, Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it had succeeded in bringing Saudi Arabia and Qatar to negotiate reconciliation.

Sheikh Sabah, the late Emir of Kuwait, launched the intervention last year.

Prince Nawaf Ahmed Aljabir, the new Emir of Kuwait, continued with the intervention efforts, which are now bearing fruit.

President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo’s administration praised Sabah and Aljabir for successfully intervening to bring the two nations to the table.
